🎯 Goal

🌟 Results

  • All issues related to the DIMMiN App were translated into issues that are now available on GitHub.

🌱 Next Time

  • The embarassing tag that I added helps me identify the most public issues with the app that I need to fix. Next time, I'll identify which specific issues I want to start solving.

📝 Notes

Now that I've completed the pre-requisite courses for the WGU MSDA, I have some time before the program starts on January 1st. I decided I'd get back to working on the DIMMiN App (maybe completing those two additional Blog Posts) or maybe just doing some basic development to the site.

I found the Issues / Issues Pending / Issues Reference notes useful to refer to for different improvements that the site currently needs. However, I think it may make the most sense to translate these into actual GitHub issues for three primary reasons:

1) My notes for development is in the same place as my actual code for development 2) If any other developers decide to join me later on in this project, the issues that they can work on are shared 3) Gets me more familiar with using GitHub as a developer rather than just as an intermediary step to Heroku deployment.

Therefore, instead of trying to fit personal notes to Dataview Objects, I'll just translate the current Issues Pending to Github Issues.

I added an embarrassing tag to identify issues that are preventing me from sharing this website more widely with friends and family. I want to be proud of all the features my app has to offer, and these are issues with the site that make me second-guess whether to share it. Therefore, these are the top priority for fixes (and are honestly long overdue).
